Urban Ag Bike Tour 2018!

Cyclists at Interagency school garden!

Time flies when you’re having fun! It’s already May, and y’all know what that means: our annual Urban Ag Bike Tour is right around the corner. Heading into our 5th year with support from Bike Works, participants have the opportunity to choose from FOUR tour dates! That’s four routes and four opportunities for cyclists of all levels to learn about our Southeast Seattle food system. Don’t have wheels? No worries! Email morgan@familybike.org, at least one week before the ride, for free bike/electric bike/cargo bike rentals from Familybike Seattle.

We will ride roughly 5 miles at a leisurely pace to local school gardens, community gardens, P-Patches, fruit orchards, and RVFB while exploring the intersections of social justice and food security. Following the tour, we’ll enjoy tasty bites thanks to our fruitful partnership with Central Co-op.

The ride is completely FREE and family friendly. Riders ages 12 and under are welcome on their own bikes with a guardian present, and children of any age are welcome on bike seats/tandems/trailer/trailing bikes/cargo bikes. Sign up for one of the rides listed below before they fill up!
