Yes folks, it’s March. With the fluctuation in weather around Seattle you’d think it was November! Luckily we have March Madness to keep us inside, cozy, and engaged while we wait for warmer weather. In addition to the competitive nature of March Madness, Rainier Valley Food Bank is continuing with our yearly #MunchMadness fundraiser in partnership with Rookies Sports Bar and Grill and Backyard.

Throughout March Madness and the NBA playoffs (March and April), Rookies and Backyard servers take part in a friendly competition, for some exciting prizes, to see who can collect the most donations for the food bank. Diners and sports fans will have the opportunity to donate to the food bank when they pay their tabs. Last year’s fundraiser was a success, raising $2800 to help RVFB serve those in need. So stop by for some nachos, a drink, and sit in your favorite servers section!

#MunchMadness donations support all of our programs, which help us provide nutritious food to families, individuals, and students throughout the Rainier Valley. This is a great opportunity to come together, support a local business, root for your favorite team, and do some good!
