Summer Fun in Rainier Valley

Looking for a way to spend your downtime this summer? Plenty is happening around Rainier Valley, whether you like music, good food, or nature. You name it! Here is a list of budget-friendly activities you can check out with your family and friends in South Seattle.

Explore the Museum of Flight

Seattle is known as the center for aviation. Lucky for us, we have a museum for plane and their history on Marginal Way. The museum offers free admission every first Thursday of the month from 5:00-9:00 PM. Explore the exhibits to learn about Boeing's history and, of course, aircraft.

Take a Dip at Rainier Beach Pool

Summers in Seattle can reach peak temperatures. On those hot days, it's always a good idea to cool down and relax. One way to do that is swimming at Rainier Beach Pool. The pool has a nice facility and a waterslide; it's a great place to bring kids.
