Your free neighborhood grocery store.
Book an appointment to shop in our grocery store once a week on Wednesdays or Friday from 9 am - 2 pm, browsing our shelves and choosing from the items your family prefers. Our grocery store is stocked with fresh fruits and vegetables, meat, canned and dry goods, and more!
People from all neighborhoods are welcome to shop with us! Bringing a piece of mail or ID can be helpful but is not required.

To create a better shopping experience, with shorter wait times, we are testing a new reservation system at the food bank. Now you can schedule a time to shop without waiting in line. Each appointment is 15 minutes long, giving you an opportunity to browse the grocery store. Our shelves will continue to be restocked throughout the day, ensuring everyone has access to abundance.
When you check-in for your shopping appointment at our food bank, you’ll have the opportunity to schedule your next shopping day.

Driving to the Food Bank
If you’re driving to our food bank, please enter our property through our back gates on 50th Ave. Please note that street parking is available throughout the area.
Using Public Transit
Our food bank is easily accessible through public transportation. Just a short walk from the Rainier Beach Lightrail Station and a bus stop that leaves you right at our front door via bus lines 7, 9, 107, 106, 987.
