A community of neighbors, growing, learning, and tending to RVFB’s garden together! Find us in the garden on the 50th Ave side of our property for our workshops.

Join our garden club

Our community garden is open for everyone to enjoy, explore, and grow with us!

We are looking for neighbors who have:

A genuine passion for gardening.
Ability to build relationships and help create welcoming community spaces.
Bilingual skills are a wonderful bonus.

Being part of our garden club can look different for everyone. We welcome you to plug in as you are able and interested.

Support routine garden care such as planting, pruning, weeding, and harvesting.
Team up in pairs or trios to host monthly Garden Hours where community members can stop by for gardening questions and advice.
Promote garden events and join onsite workshops with our community partners.
Organize and participate in resource share events where neighbors exchange extra pots, tools, seedlings, and other supplies to reduce cost barriers.
Introduce new community partners to RVFB to expand garden related programming.
