More of our neighbors are experiencing stress, anxiety, and depression due to economic factors and food and housing program at risk. Voicing our opinions is one way to stand for anti-hunger and anti-poverty policies, including contacting your local politicians and state and federal legislators. 

Even though millions of people benefit from SNAP Benefits, the government is debating on how much funding the food assistance program should receive in the future. This year, these conversations and decisions appear in the 2024 Farm Bill. 

Last month, Rainier Valley Food Bank volunteers congregated with 100 other hunger activists at our State Capitol in Olympia for Hunger Action Day.
