Viridiana “Viri” Ortiz
Outreach Coordinator
Meet Viridiana one of our Outreach Coordinators, but you may also know her as Viri (pronounced “Vidi”.) If you’re looking for someone with an incredible listening ear to offer suggestions, connections, and support, be sure to knock on Viridiana’s door! As a part of our Community Connector program, Viri works with community members who are seeking out resources and helps them connect with services that fit their needs.
She’s not new to working in the realm of human services, having spent time working with immigrants and refugees. Her passion for this work found a good fit when she came to RVFB. She shares, “I like that RVFB is a great reflection of the community. RVFB is a team that understands, works with, and listens to the community. When you do all of that you can make a difference in the community.”
Her desire to pour into those around her doesn’t stop at RVFB, she takes it home and pours that same care into gardening and art, taking pleasure in watching beauty blossom around her.
